7 things That’ll Keep You From Achieving Your 2022 Goals Before December

I’m sure on May 1st you said, this month, I’d do this and that.

Yet May came and went. Nothing changed.

Then you said June… June is when I’ll do this.

June came and went.

Now July is gone too. Here you are. It’s August 1st.

How are you sure the same thing happened in August?

If you want to make yourself better, make cool money, learn a skill, start a business or achieve ANY GOAL AT ALL, you must pay attention to these 7 things.

No matter how hard you try, if you don’t get these 7 things right, you’ll be in the same spot you are by December.

1. Spending time on irrelevant things;

The truth is that every day we are actually busy, but busy doing what? What do you spend your time on? Do you spend it doing things that would add to you or take you closer to success?

Or do you spend it doing things that won’t matter in a week? Netflix, social media, hangouts, and games are good, but when you spend ALL YOUR TIME on them you won’t go forward or achieve any of your goals.

Check your goals, write them down, and do the things that will make you accomplish them. The more time you spend on your goals, the faster you get to success.

2. Not being consistent;

Truth be told, little drops of water make a mighty ocean ONLY WHEN THE DROPS OF WATER ARE CONSISTENT. To achieve any of your goals, you must be consistent. Whatever the goal – business, skills, fitness, or a hobby, you must strive to do it EVERY DAY POSSIBLE.

Don’t wait for motivation, rely on discipline and just do it. When you are tired, rest, but don’t quit or stop.

Remember, a person who does something for just 30 minutes EVERY DAY, is better than someone who does the same thing for 3 hours once in a while.

3. Not Having A Plan;

To achieve any goal, you need a plan to guide you. If you just want to make money, lose weight, or learn graphics design, without a plan or strategy, you will not get there in time.

You need to plan your moves, schedule your time and know what to do and when to do it. Your goals need to be clear; don’t just say “I want to make money”, say “I want to make 100K before November this year”.

A plan is like bus-stops leading you to your destination.

4. Not Combating Your Bad Habits;

One main reason why most people never make it in life or miss opportunities is not because of bad luck. It’s because of bad habits.

Bad habits come in different shapes and sizes; they can be procrastination, laziness, overspending, too much social media, treating people poorly, vices e.t.c.

Whatever these bad habits are, they all do the same thing; keep you from moving forward. Find your bad habits and remove them from your life if you truly want to succeed.

5. Waiting For Miracles And Helpers;

Everyone you know wants to be rich and successful. Yet you know not everyone is successful. This is because a great majority of people don’t have any real plans for bettering their lives.

They are just waiting for “something” to happen that’ll make their lives better. See, miracles happen, prayer is wonderful, connections can double any hustle, luck is great and hope gives strength. But lack of action is what keeps people poor and makes them miss out on big opportunities.

Don’t wait for anyone to help you out. Take action and when you meet helpers on your way, they’ll multiply your efforts.

6. Not learning new things;

The moment you stop learning, what you know becomes out of date. Learning does not happen only in school, online courses, or skill training. We learn everywhere.

Whatever field you are in, be hungry for knowledge. Learn more, study more, try new things, meet people in your field, and keep practicing. Learn as long as you live.

You can’t know everything, but the more you know, the more your chances of success, and the more money you make.

7. Not taking sound advice;

There’s advice everywhere but not all advice is good for you or even meant for you. You need advice from those who know more or better than you do. All successful people get to where they are today because they listen to advice.

But watch the advice you take in. Not every social media post, motivational video, or book gives advice that’ll work for you and your situation. Understand yourself and your goals and you’ll know the best advice for you.

If you are young and you’re learning skills or into business, this blog will give you the best advice on how to achieve your goals.

How Age Of Consent Laws Should Be.

In an ideal state, marriage should only be legally valid and socially recognized IF AND ONLY IF the union is between a fully consenting adult man and a fully consenting adult woman who are not biologically related to each other.

Thus bigamy, polygamy, forced marriage, arraigned marriage, sham or contract marriages, child marriage, incestuous marriage and the like should be illegal and criminal.

Marriage CrimeDefinition
Bigamymarrying someone while already married to another person.
Polygamymarrying more than one husband or wife.
Forced marriagemarriage in which one or more of the parties is married without their consent or against their will.
Arranged marriage.choosing the bride or groom for the couple by another person other than the couple themselves, particularly by family members such as the parents.
Sham or contract marriagemarrying for convenience without intending to create a real marital relationship. This is usually for the purpose of gaining a political or economic advantage from the marriage (e.g. marriage visa).
Child marriagean adult (or another child) marrying anyone under the age of 18.
Incestuous marriagemarrying someone from the same nuclear family, e.g., marrying your brother, sister, father, daughter, e.t.c.

Sexual intercourse however falls under personal choice, but to prevent abuse and predation, there must be Consent Laws.

Anyone above 18 years of age can give full consent to consensual sex, except in cases of coercion, threats, manipulation, abuse of influence & authority, the influence of drugs, alcohol, intoxicants, mental disability, and incapacitation.

Forced or non-consensual sexual activity i.e. sexual assault must be completely criminal, (irrelevant of age)

Anyone below the age of 18 is a minor and is thus below the age of consent; even if the minor willingly engages in sexual intercourse, the sex is not consensual because of the age of the minor. However, realistically speaking, under-18 teens indeed engage in sexual activity, which is personal and private. It becomes criminal when it involves infants, adolescents, pre-teens, predatory teens, and adults.

An adult having sex with a minor – even if it wasn’t forced is Child Sexual Abuse. However, such sexual activity is called Statutory rape if it involves an adult and a willing minor above 16. Laws vary in their definitions of statutory rape, but it is generally intended to punish heinous cases of an adult taking sexual advantage of a minor.

16 & 17-year-olds are at a vulnerable stage and should be protected from adult predators. At the same time, 16 & 17-year-olds also date people who have just become adults. Thus it should be illegal for any adult (18+) to have sex with a 16 or 17-year-old when the adult is three years or more older than the minor.

This should be irrelevant if the older participant has an authoritative position over the younger regardless of relative age, such as a teacher/student, coach/player, or guardian/ward relationship, if the adult is a known sex offender, or if any physical force was used or serious physical injury resulted.

Anyone below 16 is a minor and can not have sex with an adult. It should be a felony (serious crime) for anyone above 18 to have sex or any sexual/romantic-related activities with any minor who hasn’t gotten to his/her 16th birthday.

Sexual active minor teenagers (ages 13 to 15) should also be protected from sexual activity with anyone that is 2 to 3 years and above older than them. This is to protect uninformed minors from sexual bullying from older teenagers and sexual assault from adults.

Children below 13 are not mature physically and psychologically to engage in sexual activity and thus sex should be deliberately discouraged. Anyone having any sexual activity with children aged 12 and below must be prosecuted – even 15-year-olds.

While adults abusing children is an undebatable criminal offense, children abusing children is tricky and can be prosecuted if the offending child/minor is substantially older. If under-13 children around the same age group engage in any sexually related activity, it should be the fault of their guardian & their social environment.

According to the stats, these are the ages for acceptable consensual sexual activity; (any forced or non-consensual sexual activity must be illegal, irrelevant of age)

APC’s Brilliant Plan To Win The 2023 Elections… And It Just Might Work.

APC’s Brilliant Plan To Win The 2023 Elections

There are 2 major parties in Nigeria; PDP and APC. PDP held office from 1999 to 2011 while APC held power from 2015 till present.

Now Nigeria was obviously bad under PDP, but under APC, Nigeria went from a shithole to a living hell; hundreds of thousands perished due to insecurity, education and the economy nearly collapsed – millions went into poverty or turned to crime, while millions Japa ✈️ from the country.

With the 2023 elections approaching, Nigerians are TIRED of the APC and are willing to vote anyone, even the Devil to throw APC out of power. Other parties know this… so does the APC.

Here’s APC’s brilliant plan to win the elections.

Now APC is STILL THE GOVERNING PARTY in Nigeria and 20/36 States. Meaning that they have a lot of influence, the ability to rig, and also HARDCORE supporters – people who will lose a lot if APC loses.

Let’s do it this way. Let’s say there are 400 registered voters. Out of those 400, 60 are hardcore APC supporters who would vote APC even if Lucifer is the presidential candidate. 94 more would vote for APC if they liked the candidate, bringing APC’s supporters to 154 (48%). Some Yorubas would vote for APC’s candidate Bola Tinubu because he is Yoruba Southerner. Northerners might vote for Tinubu if the outgoing President endorses him and also because Tinubu is a muslim.

Using the 400 voters example, let’s assume 50 people don’t plan on voting, meaning that the remaining 52% would vote for other parties. So Atiku of PDP wins right?

This is where it gets tricky; PDP isn’t really a universal party. Most voters plan to vote for PDP only because they HATE APC. Atiku isn’t really liked in the deep North or East.

Now, what if there’s a party people can vote for because they like?

Enter two main parties that are worth considering, NNPP and LP.

NNPP’s candidate is Rabiu Kwakwanso, former governor of Kano State, a hardcore Northener. Many Northerners would vote for Kwakwanso because he’s more Northern than the westernized Atiku – and because APC’s main candidates are from the South.

And finally the Labor Party (LP) with Peter Obi at the head. Most Igbos are ready to vote for Peter Obi even if he contests under “BBNaija” party. Also, Igbos living in Lagos, the West, North, e.t.c., some South-South peoples, and many educated Nigerians (including Yorubas) believe that Peter Obi, an honest and intelligent man, is the best option.

Except that this is what is probably gonna happen; If APC manages to get only 48% of votes 52% ought to go to Atiku and PDP. But now with all these minor parties, the votes would split.

The President is to be elected using a modified two-round system. To be elected in the first round, a candidate must receive a majority of the vote and over 25% of the vote in at least 24 of the 36 states. If no candidate passes this threshold, a second round will be held between the top candidate and the next candidate to have received a plurality of votes in the highest number of states. [2]

If 11% of voters (mostly Igbos and woke Southern youth) vote for Peter Obi, and 2% (mostly hardcore Northerners) vote for Kwakwanso, that’s 13% of the votes gone. 52% – 13% = 39% votes.

All APC has to do is to encourage Nigerians to waste their votes on parties that can’t win. Kwakwanso can’t win any votes outside the North, Peter Obi has the backing of only Igbos and Twitter NG that does more talking than doing.

In such a scenario, if APC holds just 48% votes, and Peter Obi’s LP gets 11%, Kwakwanso’s NNPP gets 2%, PDP will get just 39% of the vote.

APC wins by a majority.

Brilliant.

Now That Easter And Eid Is Over – An ASUU Strike Update

As you all know, the ongoing ASUU strike began as a Valentine’s day gift. And a long gift, given that it has stretched on for 2 months and two weeks. And from the way ASUU and FG is handling the issue, it looks is going to be an awfully long strike.

How do I know?

Cos check out the length of the previous ASUU strikes. It’s just sad.

ASUU strikes from 1999 to present

In all, that’s about 51 months spent on ASUU strikes between 1999 to 2022. I’m saying that more than 4 years out of the last 23 years have been squandered by strikes.

And guess who’s the victim of all this?

You, the average Nigerian university student. You are the victim.

Your 4-year course becomes a six-year curse.

Now, the current strike began in February 2022. We still had the 2022 NUGA Games to look forward to. The Games came and went. Then we had Easter to look forward to. Now Easter has come and gone.

Same as the Eid celebrations.

Now that Easter and Eid is over, and there’s nothing else to look forward to, how do you plan on spending this long strike?

Cos like I said before, the ASUU strike would be anytime soon. It’s been nearly three months.

now, this.

You see one big mistake to make during unplanned “holidays” like this is not recognizing the opportunity given to you. You’re a young student with no classes, no timetables, no assignments, or deadlines to meet – all of a sudden you have excess free time on your hands.

And you know what an even bigger mistake is?

Waiting for the strike to end.

Trust me I did it back in 2018.

The strike kicked off in November 2018, and I kept waiting for it to be called off. November became December, December became January.

And I kept waiting. When the strike was finally called off in February 2019, I realized one thing – I had spent 13 weeks i.e. 3 months (4 months if you add the holiday from October) doing nothing.

Just waiting.

It was until 2020 that I had such a long break from campus again – from March 2020 to April 2021 – due to Covid, strike, and a host of other factors.

A break like this while annoying is a blessing in disguise. And how you spend it means a lot. You don’t want to waste it just scrolling idly on social media. You don’t want to waste it just washing plates and feeding the dog at home. You really don’t want to waste it.

The world is evolving, and a University degree doesn’t really mean that much, yes, even outside the country. Every company is interested in one thing – making profit – and they’ll pick someone who’ll do a good job (which would bring them more profit) over someone who just has a “certificate”.

Not that your certificate isn’t important, it is. If it wasn’t, no one would spend hundreds of thousands of naira and four to six years trying to get it. Your degree is and will be very useful to you.

But your degree is not everything.

A university degree alone is not sufficient enough to make you a success in life.

And how does that relate to the strike?

The strike as I mentioned earlier has given you a lot of free time. Time to do anything you want to do before the strike is called off. Don’t make the mistake of “waiting” for the strike to be over before you take action. Even if the strike is called off tomorrow, you’ve still spent 3 months sitting at home doing nothing.

Now, what should you do exactly?

That’s totally up to you. A vast majority of students use the ongoing strike to continue their “side-hustles” and businesses. Some use it to learn skills, some use it to work in temporary jobs, some use it to holiday. However, it is spent, the main thing is clear.

Don’t be idle. Don’t do NOTHING.

It’s not compulsory you must start a business or get a job. At the same time, you must not be idle. The strike is an excellent opportunity to develop yourself and your skillset. Unless you’re a divine being that is flawless by nature, you are not perfect and there are a lot of things you need to learn.

Now’s a good opportunity to.

Most of the ways students spend the strike duration fall into these categories;

  • Taking online courses – learning digital skills like coding, web development, graphics design, digital marketing, e.t.c
  • Learning soft skills – skills like copywriting, marketing, public speaking, team management, e.t.c
  • Learning/practicing “handwork” – catering, tailoring, hairdressing, makeup, photography, woodwork, e.t.c
  • Focusing on/growing their brands/business – selling products (shoes, makeup, wears, e.t.c.), selling services (painting, interior design, digital skills, e.t.c.), taking business courses, networking, e.t.c.
  • Taking temporary jobs like teaching, salespersons, security, modeling, ushering gigs, e.t.c.

Not everything has to be money-focused though. While aiming for your financial independence is an excellent goal, you can focus on personal activity or things that benefit you directly.

For example, you can focus on things like;

  • Fitness – working out, dieting to build your dream figure/physique, meditation to clear your mind, e.t.c.
  • Hobbies and passions – things that you love doing, but can’t do while school is in full session, and may not have enough time for during the holidays. It can be writing, reading, movies, (I spent most of the 2018/19 strike making WWII maps) cooking experiments, singing, dancing, anything at all. That thing you love to do but you’re shy about – now’s the time to try it.
  • Intellect building – reading/studying additional material related to your course. You can even read/study fields that can benefit you in life like personal finance, human psychology, books on wealth, health, e.t.c.

You can even spend your time on activities that would benefit you years from now. You can enroll in an online university to get an additional degree, you can take professional courses and exams, you can attend seminars and workshops. You can even prepare for a scholarship – not everyone who goes home for the strike returns – you can get a scholarship abroad.

While doing all these, you can always take out time to read/study your school-related books. But don’t let “reading books” be the only thing you achieve during the strike. You have the opportunity to do a lot more.

In a twisted society and system like ours, a prolonged strike isn’t abnormal anymore. The chances are as long as you are schooling in a public university, you’ll witness even more strikes. I myself have witnessed 4 strikes! Strikes can make you spend 3 calendar years in one level.

The goal is to come back better than you left. Don’t go home (or leave campus) and return the same way you left. Come back better. You’re not just a student, you’re a person too, and while the grind of school life may make it hard for you to focus your attention on anything else, the strike has become a blessing to you.

So, now that Easter and Eid is over and you have nothing else to look forward to, find that something worth doing and focus on it.

Remember the goal is to return to campus better than when you left. Be productive.

The ball is in your court.

Thanks for reading. Tell me in the comments how you plan on spending the rest of the strike.

It’s Been A Month Since The NUGA Games Ended, Here’s What Visiting Students Had To Say About Unilag

It’s been over a month since the 2022 NUGA Games (i.e. the 26th edition of the Nigerian University Games) which were hosted at the University of Lagos (Unilag) ended.

In the intensely competitive Olympics-like tournament, 73 universities from all over Nigeria went head to head to be the team with the highest goal medals.

It came as little surprise as the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) won the games – their 7th win in a row.

Winners of the competition, University of Port Harcourt

Because of the NUGA games, thousands of students from the 73 competing Universities gathered together in one university – Unilag. Students from different ethnicities and backgrounds all mingled together.

Many of the visiting students were visibly impressed by the state of Unilag; its state-of-the-art buildings, paved roads, greenery, and the lights at night. Many parts of Unilag quickly became “tourist attractions” as the visiting students toured the school taking hundreds of selfies and videos.

One thing was common among all the visiting students – they all had something to say about the host school Unilag.

I, the Observer, had the opportunity of meeting with students from various schools, and interact with them. Here’s what they had to say about the school of First Choice – Unilag.

*names have been changed

I met Hassan, a 300-level student of Gombe State University (GSU). He was proud to be participating in the NUGA games as a badminton player.

He was thrilled by the badminton court and the social life of the school. He even swore that he was doing his masters here in Unilag.

His only issue was his concern about whether he’d be fully “accepted” by other Unilag students in that he was a full Northerner – with a very thick accent I might add.

Joanna, an athlete from Nasarawa State University (NSUK) fell in love with Unilag’s beauty instantly – much to the point that she took late-night strolls around campus every day. After seeing Sofoluwe Park at night, she admitted she wished she could transfer to Unilag.

Well, be careful what you wish for.

Kenny from Federal University, Oye-Ekiti wasn’t so thrilled about Unilag. Having lived in Lagos for a while, she didn’t really see anything special about Unilag and its environs. She even had things to complain about.

First off, to her, the school and its environs were way too crowded, and she really loved her space.

Secondly, most of the females on and around the campus seemed to dress “silly” to her – well, this is Lagos after all.

And lastly, the food. She complained about the crappy food being sold on campus. It was just spag, rice, junk, and nothing serious. She couldn’t get a good dish of her favorite meal of egusi soup and semo on campus and she was pissed.

She couldn’t wait to be back in Ekiti.

Not all students were too happy to leave tho. I befriended the athletes from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria during their week-long stay in Jaja Hostel.

King Jaja Hall

The boys from ABU Zaria were thrilled by Unilag. Here was an environment that matched their swag. Despite being from the heart of the North, these guys were trendy and up to date in everything music and fashion. After every game, they spent their free time going around the campus dressed to kill and recording every moment.

As they left Jaja Hall, they sang a goodbye song in thick Hausa for their brief week-long home – recording it as usual.

Chinaza, a 200-level student from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) regretted skipping Unilag for UNN. Having lived In Lagos all her life (at Ikeja), she wasn’t interested in schooling in any Lagos-based higher institution. So she applied for UNN instead and was representing her school at the NUGA games in basketball.

She was deeply impressed by the state of Unilag sporting facilities and hostels which she said were in sharp contrast to UNN. Due to poor management, UNN had let its many sporting facilities fall into disuse. In fact, some sporting courts have been turned into fellowship centers and prayer grounds.

Unilag had everything a sporting student like her craved.

It’s not just the visiting students who had something to say about the host school Unilag. Officials from the participating universities also had one or two things to say about Unilag. While they appreciated the warmth of the hosts and were impressed by the clearly superior sporting facilities, they also had their reservations about the school.

Some officials from Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), were dismayed at the “huge waste” of Unilag’s Lagoon Front. Being from the eastern part of the country, and from the heavily business-oriented city of Owerri, these officials know a thing or two about business and landed assets.

To the FUTO officials, Unilag’s management had a very valuable asset in the Lagoon Front. Lagoon Front to them could be made into a student/public resort, a mini-beach, or at least be made into a presentable park. This would have been a massive income source for the university.

To their dismay, Unilag’s management seemed to feel comfortable with the frequently polluted Lagoon water and poorly managed greenery.

The officials from the University of Jos (UNIJOS), the future hosts of the 2024 Nuga games, had little love for the host school Unilag. UNIJOS and Unilag actually bid for the 2022 NUGA games hosting rights back in 2020, but UNIJOS lost to Unilag.

Some of UniJos’ sports officials believed that Unilag ‘stole’ the hosting rights out from under their noses. They claimed to have better facilities and weather back in Jos – stating that while Unilag had a big sporting field, Unilag didn’t have floodlights to play night games at night as they did in Jos.

Also, they were dismissive of Unilag’s relatively small size because Unilag had to hold some games off-campus. To them, Unilag only seemed to appear better because most of its sporting facilities were brand new, and being a Lagos-based university, Unilag had access to unlimited sponsors.

After engaging them in brief conversation, the Jos officials concluded that Lagosians were very close-minded people who hardly travel the country, but choose instead to rely on stereotypes about other schools.

The winners, the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT), didn’t really socialize or mingle with the rest of the schools. To them, there was nothing new or special about Unilag due to the fact that Uniport claimed to have even better facilities back in the port city.

The NUGA games were a big eye-opener for all the participants, as it smashed barriers between students and eliminated many wrong conceptions about other schools in different parts of the country.

And it did another thing – the games catapulted Unilag into the limelight as the claimant of the position of “best university” in the country.

I may have my issues with Unilag, but for a brief moment during the games, one thing was clear.

I was proud to be an Akokite.

What is NUGA?

NUGA, which is the Nigerian University Games Association, organizes university-level sports events in Nigeria. It hosts an inter-university sports competition called the University Games.

NUGA approves fifteen different sporting events at the University Games: track and field, badminton, basketball, chess, cricket, handball, hockey, judo, soccer, squash, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo, tennis, and volleyball.

The games have grown over time to sixteen namely: Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Chess, Cricket, Football, Handball, Hockey, Judo, Scrabble, Squash, Swimming, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Tennis and Volleyball.

NUGA History

NUGA was founded in July 1965, shortly after the first West African University Games (WAUG), which were held earlier that year at the University of Ibadan.

The first NUGA games were held at the University of Ibadan in 1966. At the time, Nigeria had five universities: the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), Ile-Ife, the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, the University of Lagos, Akoka, and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

NUGA currently has over eighty universities as members, including both private and public (Federal and State) universities.

In 1970, NUGA became a member of the World Federation of University Games (FISU), and in 1974 was a founding member of the All Africa University Games Association (FASU).

NUGA 2022 Date

This year’s NUGA games will be held between March 16 to 26, 2022.

For the fourth time since its inauguration in 1966, the University of Lagos (UNILAG) is hosting the 26th edition of the NUGA sporting events. Unilag hosted the games previously in 1998.

UNILAG won the hosting right for 2022 after defeating the University of Jos, scoring 76 points against the latter’s 66 points.

The university’s vice-chancellor, Dr. Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, disclosed: “With the announcement of this win, the University of Lagos set arrangements in motion by paying the obligatory fees of six million naira (N6,000,000.00) to the NUGA national council…[1]

The games were to be held in 2020 but the global COVID-19 pandemic disrupted things, causing the NUGA Council to move to the new dates of 16th to 26th March 2022.

The 2022 NUGA games features universities and about 10,000 student-athletes and officials will participate in 17 different games.

The games, according to Dr. Ogundipe are football, volleyball, basketball, handball, lawn tennis, table tennis, badminton, hockey, cricket, chess, taekwondo, judo, karate, athletics, squash, and boxing.

Is NUGA Yearly?

The NUGA games are to be held on an annual basis. However, due to the costs of setting up large sporting events with many participants, the games have mostly had intervals of years between them.

Here is the list of NUGA game editions since 2001.

When Was The Last NUGA Games?

The last NUGA games, the 25th edition, was held in 2017. It was hosted by the University of Agriculture, Makurdi.

The University of Port Harcourt won the competition with 70 gold medals.

What do the NUGA Games Aim to Achieve?

The main objective of the NUGA games is to foster unity amongst universities through sporting activities.

The program seeks to instill Olympic values in students in order to foster a more peaceful world.

NUGA aims to educate youths on how to participate in sports without discrimination, in the spirit of friendship, solidarity, and fair play, in keeping with the Olympic spirit.

The Vice-chancellor of the host University, Dr. Ogundipe stated that apart from exposing the students to other opportunities, the games are another way of selling the university’s brand to the world.

Speaking on the benefits of the games, the VC said academic institutions are not just for academic activities but that knowledge must be all-round.
